Today in the blogsphere I stumbled across this post on the Goonies 20 year reunion. I thought it was great, I am not afraid to say that I still love Goonies. We first got it when I was a kid on CED disc. I am sure that we drove my poor Mom nuts, because we would watch it over and over again. Well, now I'm and adult and I still want to watch this movie on a rainy day, and now the Little Boy watches it with me.

Curtsmedia.com has a fantastic article on the history behind the 1984 Apple Macintosh commercial.  Interstingly enough Apple's board of directors didn't like the commercial and didn't think it should air. Another interesting fact I didn't know about the commercial is that it was directed by Ridley Scott of Bladerunner.

It appears that the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 coupe that co-starred with Sean Connery in the James Bond films is going up for auction. I'm thinking about taking donations to get it.

Well I've just finished loading my photoblog in to OneReaction. I think it looks pretty darn good. Give it a look and let me know what you think.

So I found this, this morning and just had to share. It seems that the San Diego Zoo is taking a big step forward in the technology department. The Zoo now has it’s own podcast. Apparently it is a podcast of the audio tours of the park. Their site give great instructions on how to get started downloading their podcast.

I have to say I think this is great. I love that my iPod/MP3 enabled family can simply download the podcast and choose which things they’d like to see before we get there. The fact that it’s a podcast and educational makes it something you’d want  to download for your kids. Of course they also see it as a good way to get you to come back again and again.

iZoofari Tip:

After you download your desired Podcasts, create different tours, or playlists, from the individual episodes to load into your portable MP3 player. As we add more Zoo and Wild Animal Park iZoofari tours, you will be able to mix and match audio tracks into custom playlists, making each visit to the Zoo and Park a truly unique and enhanced experience!

We all know that dealing with telemarketers is a royal pain, they call in the middle of dinner, right after everyone is home and finally getting to spend sometime together.

Well, quite by accident last night we found the perfect way to deal with telemarketers. For some reason none of the adult type people at the house felt like answering the phone. So the Little Boy was allowed to do so. So he asks the person "What's your name?". Innocent enough, then as their conversation proceeded he told the person on the other end, "well, sometimes, sometimes, people pick their boogers and eat them, that happens sometimes." We were shocked, laughing and yet a little embarassed. So an adult took the phone from him and the person on the other end had hung up.  We laughed even harder.

We decided that from now on the Little Boy is handling all of the telemarketers.  If any of the adults answer the phone and it's a telemarketer, we will simply say, "Just a moment please, let me get you the person in charge" and then will hand the phone to the Little Boy.
