So I found this, this morning and just had to share. It seems that the San Diego Zoo is taking a big step forward in the technology department. The Zoo now has it’s own podcast. Apparently it is a podcast of the audio tours of the park. Their site give great instructions on how to get started downloading their podcast.
I have to say I think this is great. I love that my iPod/MP3 enabled family can simply download the podcast and choose which things they’d like to see before we get there. The fact that it’s a podcast and educational makes it something you’d want to download for your kids. Of course they also see it as a good way to get you to come back again and again.
After you download your desired Podcasts, create different tours, or playlists, from the individual episodes to load into your portable MP3 player. As we add more Zoo and Wild Animal Park iZoofari tours, you will be able to mix and match audio tracks into custom playlists, making each visit to the Zoo and Park a truly unique and enhanced experience!
